Tenant screening Reasonable Accommodations Fair Housing Lead Base Paint Expanding Housing Opportunities Completion of the Request for Tenancy Approval Initial, Annual and Special Inspections Quality Control Rent Reasonableness and Rent Increases Landlord & Tenant Responsibilities Cost of third Follow Up Inspection HAP Contract VAWA Leases Terminations   We encourage you to list your unit(s) with us as they become available.  If you know of anyone with available units, please refer them to the Housing Choice Voucher program. UPDATE 10:45AM (CT) 7/26/22: WAITLIST IS NOW FULL. WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. The Housing Authority of the City of Port Arthur Texas will open the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8). Applications will be accepted for ONE DAY ONLY starting at 8:00 a.m. (CT) on TUESDAY, JULY 26th 2022 until 2,000 pre-applications have been submitted. Once 2,000 pre-applications have been received the HCV waiting list will be closed and no more pre-applications will be accepted.
