Thank you for your decision to participate as a housing provider on the Housing Choice Voucher Program.  The success of our program at the Port Arthur Housing Authority is because of owners and property managers like yourselves who are willing to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing to our clients. We will discuss the following and answer questions regarding Housing Quality Standard (HQS) inspections and the program. Tenant screening Reasonable Accommodations Fair Housing Lead Base Paint Expanding Housing Opportunities Completion of the Request for Tenancy Approval Initial, Annual and Special Inspections Quality Control Rent Reasonableness and Rent Increases Landlord & Tenant Responsibilities Cost of third Follow Up Inspection HAP Contract VAWA Leases Terminations   We encourage you to list your unit(s) with us as they become available.  If you know of anyone with available units, please refer them to the Housing Choice Voucher program.
