HCV Counselor II

Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to perform intake, case management, and other activities in support of the Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. The incumbent provides expertise on Project-Based Vouchers and Tax Credit properties, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency at both the site level and the main office.
Experience/Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of case management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of HQS processes required. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under the Authority’s plan. Must complete HUD-approved LIHTC tax credit training, HQS, and PBV training within a year of hire.
