HCV Counselor I

Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to perform intake, case management, and other activities in support of the Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV). The incumbent performs a variety of tasks related to the regular HCV Program. All activities must support the Housing Authority of the City of Port Arthur (“PAHA” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals and objectives.

Experience/Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of general clerical experience. Bookkeeping experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under the Authority’s plan.
