HCV Inspection / Verification Clerk

Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative assistance to HCV staff and front-line customer service to HCV program participants. In addition to scheduling and maintaining records regarding inspections, the incumbent verifies changes reported by participants and ensures that recertifications occur as required. This position also receives all phone calls and in-person inquiries to the HCV office.
All activities must support the Housing Authority of the City of Port Arthur (“PAHA” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals and objectives.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required and a minimum of 2 years of experience performing administrative work.
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under the Authority’s plan.
