DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your decision to participate as a housing provider on the Housing Choice Voucher Program.  The success of our program at the Port Arthur Housing Authority is because of owners and property managers like yourselves who are willing to provide safe\, decent\, and sanitary housing to our clients. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will discuss the following and answer questions regarding Housing Quality Standard (HQS) inspections and the program. \n\nTenant screening\nReasonable Accommodations\nFair Housing\nLead Base Paint\nExpanding Housing Opportunities\nCompletion of the Request for Tenancy Approval\nInitial\, Annual and Special Inspections\nQuality Control\nRent Reasonableness and Rent Increases\nLandlord & Tenant Responsibilities\nCost of third Follow Up Inspection\nHAP Contract\nVAWA\nLeases\nTerminations\n\n  \nWe encourage you to list your unit(s) with us as they become available.  If you know of anyone with available units\, please refer them to the Housing Choice Voucher program. \nIf you cannot attend the meeting but would like to have all materials mailed or emailed to you please call 409-984-2648 or email anicia.salinas@pahousing.org
